Saving tips

General
How do saving tips work?
The saving tips compare what it costs to run your appliance now with later times. If there's a cheaper time, you'll see how much you can save by running it then instead.
Which electricity price are saving tips calculated with?
They're calculated with the total electricity price, which is roughly the price you pay. You can set it in Settings → Fees in the app.
When are "Good time now" and "Not much to save by waiting" shown?
They're shown when there's no later time that would save you more than 1 kr. If the electricity price is low you'll see "Good time now", and if it's higher "Not much to save by waiting".
How does Start within work?
If you turn on Start within, the app finds the cheapest start time within the period you choose, instead of following your Times.
Why can the start time be late in the evening?
The EV, dishwasher and dryer can start late in the Evening block if it's cheaper, since they're assumed to run on their own once started.
Times
Do the times apply to all saving tips?
Yes, the times are shared by all your saving tips. The EV, dishwasher and dryer can also start late in the evening and finish during the night.
What happens if I turn off a time window?
Then you get no saving tips in that window on the selected days.
Do Times affect Start within?
No, your Times don't affect Start within. It looks for the cheapest time all the way up to your end time.
Electric vehicle
Which charger power should I choose?
A home charger is usually 11 kW. If you're not sure, you'll find the figure in the charger's app or its installation papers.

Sometimes the car charges slower than the charger can deliver. If you have an 11 kW charger but the car only accepts 7.4 kW, choose 7.4 kW.
Why does the app show a different charging time than the car?
The car charges at different speeds depending on model, temperature and battery level. The app makes a simplified estimate, so the time can differ from the car's.
Why does the energy amount differ from what the car shows?
The app adds 10–25% for charging losses, depending on the chosen charger (most with a wall outlet, least with a larger wallbox). The apps energy figure can therefore be a bit higher than what the car shows.
Sauna
Do saving tips work for both dry and wet saunas?
Yes, the energy consumption is about the same if you pour water on the stones or not.
Issues

Check the heating method in the shower or bath settings in the app. If you've selected district heating, no saving tips are shown.
Other
Are saving tips calculated with hourly prices if I show hourly prices?
