Common questions
What is the spot price?
The spot price is the base price of electricity on the power exchange – the price electricity companies pay for it. It's set every quarter-hour depending on how much electricity is available and how much is being used.
Which electricity price do I pay?
If you have a quarter-hourly price contract, you pay the spot price plus transfer fee, supplier markup, energy tax and VAT, minus strømstøtte when the spot price is high.
